- Competitive Salary: £13.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Flexible working hours: 36 or 48 hours per week – 3 or 4 shifts of 12 hours
- Availability of day or night shifts from 8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am, with a requirement to work alternate weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and mentor a team of Care Assistants to ensure exceptional care is consistently provided.
- Report directly to the Home Manager and coordinate with ancillary teams, other Senior Care Assistants, and registered nurses.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities while promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
- Participate in the development of personalized care plans and risk assessments, ensuring regular updates and reviews are conducted.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant, with an NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or three years' experience without an NVQ.
- Previous experience in a nursing or care home setting, or as a home care worker.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, particularly the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Knowledge and experience working with individuals living with dementia is advantageous.
- Prior experience in prompting/administering medication using an electronic e-MAR system is desirable; comprehensive training will be provided.
- A passionate, enthusiastic, and caring individual dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
