Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multifaceted Technical Specialist to join our engineering team at The People Co. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and malfunctions, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Conduct PLC fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve input and output level issues.
- Implement corrective actions to address issues highlighted by internal audits and quality control processes.
- Provide support for out-of-hours breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Hold a relevant HNC or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and a strong understanding of HAACP principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
