Finance Administrator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our team at a prestigious law firm in Manchester. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the billing and credit control processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Implement and manage the firm's WIP (Work in Progress) process to optimize cash flow.
  • Oversee time recording across the firm, collaborating with fee earners to ensure accurate and efficient time management.
  • Implement and enforce credit control procedures to minimize bad debt.
  • Assist with client onboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration with our finance systems.
  • Support additional finance-related operational duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar finance role within a leading regional or national law firm.
  • Proficiency with practice management, accounting systems, time recording, and legal billing software.
  • Strong understanding of office technology with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and think strategically.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
