About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to work with schools, Local Authorities, and Virtual Schooling Teams in Cramlington and across Northumberland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring services to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with schools, Local Authorities, and stakeholders to provide tailored support
  • Develop and implement effective learning plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Provide regular progress updates and feedback to parents and carers

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEMH and SEN
  • Patient, empathetic, and creative approach to teaching
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or ability to complete one
  • Minimum of two references covering the last two years of employment
