Job Summary
Midlothian Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Wellbeing to join our team. As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and education of our students.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing wellbeing programs to promote student wellbeing and academic success
- Collaborating with teachers and other education professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Providing guidance and support to students, parents, and staff on wellbeing-related issues
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for student wellbeing
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in education and wellbeing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
