About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecological Consultant to join our team at RSK Group. As an Ecological Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Participate in field surveys, assessments, tender and report writing, and project management tasks. You will work on a variety of projects, contributing to environmental conservation and sustainability.
  • Professional Development: Set annual objectives through our Performance Development Review (PDR) process to enhance your skills and competencies, aligning with team needs and your personal growth.
  • Project Management: For Consultants, manage small projects under supervision; for Senior Consultants, lead medium to large projects and tenders, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, actively seeking new business opportunities and promoting RSK Group positively in the industry.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Hold a degree in a relevant discipline or a vocational qualification, with the appropriate experience for the role level.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a full UK Driving Licence; species-specific personal licenses and Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) membership are desirable.
  • Professional and Ethical Conduct: Adhere to CIEEM's Code of Professional Conduct, demonstrating a commitment to high standards in ecological work.
