Job Overview

City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the Support for Learning curriculum. This role is essential in fostering an inclusive educational environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.

Position: Curriculum Leader of Support for Learning

Salary: Competitive remuneration package
Hours: 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies that support student engagement and achievement.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to enhance the curriculum and ensure it meets the needs of all learners.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the educational setting.

Requirements:

This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults. The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check may also be necessary for individuals who have spent an extended period outside the UK in recent years.
