About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Ada Belfield Care Centre. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with personal care, domestic tasks, medication, and health-related activities in line with agreed personal care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Assist residents in maintaining their independence by supporting them with daily tasks and activities.
  • Complete accurate and timely records of resident care, including personal service plans, logs, reviews, and admissions.
  • Liaise with colleagues, other agencies, and families/carers to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience of caring for others, either in a work-based, voluntary, or personal capacity.
  • Understanding of and empathy with the needs of vulnerable people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of clients.
  • Ability to follow routines, carry out set care plans, record, and monitor changes in individual condition.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
