**Position Overview:**

The successful candidate will play a key role in the setup and growth of the new Crude Oil Derivatives Trading Desk. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a globally recognized firm and to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes trading environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the setup and development of the Crude Oil Derivatives Trading Desk, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Execute and manage trades in crude oil derivatives, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives and risk management policies.
  • Analyze market trends, identify trading opportunities, and develop trading strategies to optimize trading performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including research, risk management, and operations, to ensure seamless trading operations and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Contribute to the overall profitability and risk management of the firm's trading portfolio, driving business success and growth.

**Key Requirements:**

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in crude oil derivatives trading, with a proven track record of successful trading and delivering strong results.
  • Currently employed with a reputable trading organization, with a strong understanding of the crude oil market and its dynamics.
  • Deep understanding of the crude oil market, including price drivers, supply and demand factors, and geopolitical influences, with the ability to analyze and interpret market data.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to react quickly to market changes and make informed trading decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with internal teams.
