Job Overview

Important Note: We only accept applications from current staff members of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

The post holder will provide administrative support to the Health Protection Service team, either at their designated work base or as part of an agile, patient-facing, outreach team in north Wales. This will involve managing diaries, resolving conflicting appointments, organising meetings, preparing meeting papers, and taking minutes of meetings. The postholder will source and provide information when required, including report collation.

Main DutiesProject Support/Administration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to scope, plan, and deliver projects, products, work packages, or work streams.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ensure version control for documentation.
  • Complete essential administration tasks, ensuring all documentation templates are up-to-date.
  • Work with senior team members to ensure all processes and tools are completed, including business cases, specifications, project plans, testing and training plans, benefits analysis, and risk and issue logs.
  • Arrange workshops and events, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, prepare agendas, and take minutes, ensuring all arrangements are catered for.
  • Order and receive office supplies and raise orders associated with projects using the Oracle system.
  • Utilize a comprehensive range of work processing, spreadsheet, database, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Accurately produce reports, letters, and meeting papers and minutes of meetings, such as team meetings and project/programme board meetings.
Sampling/Screening

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in basic testing and complete/collate associated documentation required.
