Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our dynamic education team as a Clinical Skills Development Specialist. As a key member of our corporate educational team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing education programmes across the health board.
As a Clinical Skills Development Specialist, you will work closely with staff in clinical practice to promote the acquisition of new and essential skills and knowledge that will enable them to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will also be responsible for delivering and evaluating a range of multi-professional programmes and teaching sessions to improve the quality of the patient experience health board-wide.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for training and education, be conscientious and motivated, and have a desire to make a difference to patient care through the development of our clinical workforce. Applications are welcomed from all registered professional groups who meet the essential criteria outlined within the person specification.
Main Duties of the Job
To develop, facilitate, deliver, and evaluate a range of multi-professional programmes and teaching sessions to improve the quality of the patient experience health board-wide, in accordance with a range of national objectives and organisational goals.
To be a role model within specific professional fields and to work with staff in clinical practice to promote the acquisition of new and essential skills and knowledge that will enable them to provide high-quality care to our patients in line with the values of the Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
