Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the role of Principal Designer on a wide range of projects, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and providing expert advice to clients on health and safety matters.
  • Advise clients and project teams on health and safety matters, conducting design risk assessments and managing health and safety files.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure health and safety standards are maintained, delivering CDM workshops and training sessions.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of health and safety files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve health and safety outcomes.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Background in construction or design-related discipline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
