Salary: £47,500 - £51,500 per annum

Job Description:

Role Overview:

To ensure the successful delivery of customer contracts within contractual guidelines and to manage the technical service team effectively, through target-driven performance requirements, structured review meetings, and close collaboration with the Account Manager to achieve overall efficiencies and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to ABM and client Health and Safety Policies and procedures, referring conflicts to the Account Manager as necessary.
  • Update asset lists, schedules, and instruction sets on the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Ensure supervisors plan labor, schedule tasks, and complete PPM & Reactive works effectively, both directly and through sub-contractors.
  • Log and close reactive calls on the CMMS, utilizing supervisors and administration staff as required.
  • Work to agreed quality systems, taking preventative and remedial actions as necessary, as outlined in the quality manual.
  • Provide technical support to the team.
  • Contribute to the appraisal of staff and suppliers.
  • Identify cost-effective good working practices on site, including spares holding, bulk replacements, refurbishments, alternative suppliers, and maintenance regimes.
  • Ensure best purchasing practices using the company's nominated suppliers.
  • Maintain records of Risk Assessments, COSHH records, and safe methods of work on site.
  • Ensure records are maintained in compliance with local and national legislation.
  • Support the Account Manager in internal and external audits.
  • Review work schedules regularly to ensure best value for money and efficient delivery of services to client requirements.
  • Ensure correct staff and efficiency levels are maintained on site.
  • Maintain administration procedures and records in line with company policy and industry associations (ISO 9001).
  • Develop a close working relationship with the client Technical Manager.
  • Regularly review and set targets for the engineering team.
  • Appraise the engineering team.
  • Hold and execute disciplinary hearings.
  • Develop new business opportunities.
  • Support the line manager.
  • Act as Victoria Duty Manager on a rota basis.

Requirements:


• Proven successful working relationships with high-end service providers.


• Self-motivated with an eye for detail and a desire to deliver exceptional standards.


• Evidence of high-quality experience in Building Services.


• C&G/NVQ in mechanical or electrical discipline.


• Advanced knowledge of Building Management Systems.


• Sound level of administration and organizational skills.


• Commercial awareness.


• Strong communication skills.


• Strong influencing and motivational skills.


• IT skills – Intermediate/Advanced level.


• Working knowledge of Concept FSI Go.


• IOSH Managing Safely.

Desirable:


• 18th Edition IEE.


• NEBOSH General Certificate.


• City & Guilds Refrigerant, Safe Handling.


• Autocad experience.


• ACS/Gas Safe qualifications.


• Experience of working with a Shopping Centre/Retail environment.
