Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our team at Mytime Active. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Bar Operations: Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, adhering to our company's code of conduct and standards.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations when preparing and serving food and beverages to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register accurately, ensuring our cash handling and financial procedures are adhered to.
  • Delivery and Storage: Accept and store deliveries securely, checking items against delivery notes and ensuring accurate stock rotation.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the F&B area is safe, clean, and warm before customers enter, undertaking safety inspections and cleaning duties as required.
  • Teamwork: Supervise the front of house at functions, events, and societies, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Reporting: Report any defective services, equipment, and facilities to the manager, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Training and Development: Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience: Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a busy bar setting, although full training can be provided.
  • Flexibility: You should be flexible to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, as well as occasional lone working and key holding responsibilities.
  • Alcohol Service: You will be required to serve alcohol, so you must be 18 years or older and able to handle this responsibility.
