Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

RSM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our team in the North West. As a key member of our Corporate Tax Team, you will play a vital role in supporting and advising a range of clients across various sectors, including technology, manufacturing, leisure and tourism, retail, professional services, and construction.
Key Responsibilities- Client Service Delivery: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality corporation tax compliance services to our clients, including operating as a key part of the client service team and working closely with key members of the client's team.
- Tax Compliance and Advisory: You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality corporation tax compliance service to our clients, addressing any queries or enquiries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC, and working closely with your colleagues to provide value-adding, technically accurate, clear and concise tax advice.
- Client Relationship Management: You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and providing exceptional client service.
- Team Collaboration: You will work closely with your colleagues to provide a high-quality service to our clients, including working with our transactions team on tax due diligence projects and our restructuring advisory team on distress or insolvency cases.
- Professional Development: You will be expected to continually improve your skills, knowledge, and capability for the benefit of our clients, which you will be expected to embrace as part of your own development and promote by way of providing coaching and guidance to junior members of the team.
- Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA (part-)qualified.
- Experience: Background in an Accountancy Practice with good knowledge of corporate tax, proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio, and excellent communication and organization skills.
- Skills: Experience of using specialist tax software is advantageous.
