Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Join our team at Frasers Group as an Assistant Accountant and play a key role in processing accounting entries for all our subsidiaries. As part of our global Property and Accounts teams, you will work closely with the property department and report to an accounting supervisor based at our head office in Shirebrook, Notts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end processes.
  • Maintain global property databases.
  • Analyse prepayments and accruals against budget.
  • Identify potential errors and create monthly reports against accounting standards.
  • Support multiple departments across the business.
  • Collaborate with external consultants on system implementation and improvements.
  • Work as part of a team to process monthly costs for all properties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1/2 year's experience in a related role within a finance function.
  • Working towards or ambitions of completing ACCA/CIMA (study support provided).
  • Hard working and willingness to learn is essential.
  • Minimum intermediate Excel skills and confidence with formulas.
  • Organised and determined to succeed.
