We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to contribute to the Practical Law Corporate team in the UK.
About the Role
As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in Practical Law, you will leverage your expertise in corporate law to develop and maintain a wide range of Practical Law content. Working collaboratively with a team of experienced colleagues, you will engage in a variety of interesting legal and editorial tasks, including:
- Analyzing the latest corporate law, regulatory, and policy developments to determine which topics to cover and to what extent
- Creating new and maintaining existing materials in various formats, such as standalone and comparative resources
- Commissioning, reviewing, and editing content written internally and externally
- Engaging with external customers and industry experts to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and pressures in corporate law and practice
- Assisting with marketing the Practical Law Corporate practice area and engaging with customers
- Liaising with the wider Thomson Reuters editorial teams, sales, marketing, product management, technology, and segment functions as needed
About You
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Significant post-qualification experience as a corporate lawyer in England & Wales, either in a law firm or in-house
- A demonstrated interest and ability in writing
- In-depth knowledge of corporate law and extensive experience in advising on corporate matters
