Job Title: Data Centre Mechanical Shift Engineer

PRS LTD is seeking a skilled Data Centre Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their team. As a critical member of the Data Centre Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical and electrical systems in a 24/7 on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive, and breakdown works to all mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Monitor the Data Centre environment for changes in condition and identify the cause, providing reports to the Team and Customer.
  • Assist in ensuring 100% uptime of Customer Data Centres.
  • Support contractor/engineer activities such as isolations, connections, work permits, etc.
  • Maintain systems and assets in a data-driven environment, using new digital tools and platforms.
Requirements:
  • Trade trained with ideally 3 years' experience in building services.
  • City & Guilds Mechanical or Plumbing discipline competency, Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent apprenticeship.
  • Willing to be Authorised as Mechanical AP on site.
  • Experience in critical sites (Data Centre or Banking Sites).
