Job Summary

UK Shared Business Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Value Stream Mapping Lead to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in our lean transformation journey.

About the Role

The Value Stream Mapping Lead will be responsible for facilitating VSM initiatives across the organisation, working closely with various directorates and teams to identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes and drive value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping initiatives to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Work closely with directorates and teams to identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes and drive value creation.
  • Develop and implement lean methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve process improvement goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain process maps and documentation to support process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and training to teams on lean and agile practices.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong background in lean methodologies and process improvement.
  • Proven experience leading and facilitating Value Stream Mapping initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse teams.
  • Experience in coaching and training teams on lean and agile practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and build strong relationships.
  • Expertise in analysing processes, identifying waste, and developing solutions.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
