About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our team at South Hampshire College Group. As a Lecturer in Electrical Installation, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of Electricians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials, including schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment plans.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to learners, enabling them to develop their knowledge, understanding, and skills in Electrical Installation.
  • Contribute to the development of our Electrical Installation provision, ensuring it remains relevant, effective, and meets the needs of our learners and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our learners and industry partners.
  • Assess and provide feedback to learners on their progress, using a range of assessment methods to ensure accurate and fair evaluation.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree and/or professional qualifications in Electrical Installation or a related field.
  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Proven teaching and training experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality learning outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages and ability to use digital tools to support teaching and learning.
