Opportunity to Lead in a Specialist Eating Disorder Service
We are seeking a highly skilled clinical psychologist to join our innovative team in a leading child and adolescent eating disorder service. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and delivering interventions for young people and their families. As part of the team, you will lead on the delivery of evidence-based psychological therapies in an in-patient setting and act as a champion for ongoing training and development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the psychology and psychotherapies team on Wisteria Ward
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychological therapies
- Act as a champion for CYP-IAPT training and development
- Participate in comprehensive assessment and care planning
- Provide individual therapy and supervision to team members
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and service development
Requirements:
Essential:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
- Registration with the Health Professionals Council
- Experience working as a qualified clinical psychologist in a specialist setting
- Experience in teaching, training, and service development
- Desirable: Training in CYP IAPT collaborative and working with eating disorders
