Role Overview

As a Senior Pharmacy Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering the Primary Care Pharmacotherapy Service. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring safe and effective medication use within GGC. You'll collaborate closely with Senior Pharmacy Technicians to provide Level 1 medication review services and contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of the Level 1 medication review service.
  • Support cost-efficiency measures within the pharmacy department.
  • Contribute to the triage of hub workload and act as a point of contact for inquiries from community pharmacies, GP practices, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team in East Renfrewshire.

Essential Skills and Experience

Experience interacting with the public and strong communication skills are highly desirable. Proficiency in IT, administration, and pharmacy practices would be beneficial. A commitment to continuous learning and development is essential for success in this role.
