Job Title: Pharmacy Support Worker

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing a wide range of pharmacy services to patients across the area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to our pharmacy team, including dispensing, distribution, and near patient dispensing. They will also have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of hospital pharmacy, including pharmacy stores and aseptic services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the pharmacy team, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Assist with dispensing and distribution of medication to patients.
  • Participate in near patient dispensing and other pharmacy services.
  • Gain experience in all aspects of hospital pharmacy, including pharmacy stores and aseptic services.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a good understanding of pharmacy practices and procedures, and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
