The Floor Supervisor at 33 Fulfilment plays a crucial role in managing the daily functions of the fulfilment area, ensuring that all processes are executed with precision and efficiency. This position involves leading a team of associates, maintaining operational flow, upholding quality and safety standards, and assisting the Warehouse Manager in meeting operational objectives. Strong leadership, organizational capabilities, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the daily activities on the fulfilment floor, ensuring timely completion of tasks in alignment with company standards.
  • Team Leadership: Directly oversee fulfilment associates, offering guidance and support while ensuring compliance with established processes.
  • Training and Mentorship: Facilitate the onboarding of new team members and provide continuous training to maintain high performance levels.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor and report on team performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Quality Control: Guarantee that all orders are processed accurately, ensuring high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Foster a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve operational challenges, collaborating with the Floor Manager and other departments as needed.
  • Effective Communication: Act as a liaison for team members, promoting clear communication and a cooperative work atmosphere.

Experience Required:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or fulfilment setting, with supervisory experience preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Capability to stand for extended periods and work in various warehouse conditions.
