The Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor is an integral role within the RDD team that sits alongside the main production function; at the heart of the business a strong leader with excellent communication skills is required. The role requires independent working, strategic thinking, creating and management of business strategies to enable the successful and efficient running and upkeep of the RDD infrastructure.

The position has autonomy regarding the general upkeep of the site including warehouse facilities (interior and exterior) and office space, discussing issues and initiatives with key stakeholders.

Accountable for overseeing facilities budget spend, logistics, goods in and out as well as material and product placement. Internal parts management encompassing client spares and aftermarket work, together with picking parts delivered to our assembly line on time and accurately.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Production support**:

- With the Departmental Managers and purchasing function; facilitate the supply of parts and materials for assembly in accordance with production scheduling.
- Create, manage, and log goods in/out on Kronos against delivery notes, checking for accuracy and damages then dealing with issues accordingly
- Working in conjunction with the Production Manager, move parts and materials to relevant departments/locations in the warehouse.
- Ensure that all database logs are kept accurate through regular stock takes and report stock to accounts team at month end.
- Notify the relevant departments of any short shipments/mis-picks/damaged items - via software system and/or in direct communication.
- Suggest and manage suitable KANBAN items within a suitable system.
- Create and manage a delivery system to enable the business to facilitate the needs of project deliverables keeping costs to a minimum.
- **Warehouse**:

- Manage the warehouse facilities (both interior and exterior) and office upkeep, discussing with 3rd parties including but not limited to the landlord all maintenance queries, tracking short and long-term improvements.
- Together with the production teams create and Implement improvement plans.
- Manage a maintenance budget, together with forecasting future expenditure and reporting cost savings.
- Control the general housekeeping and warehouse maintenance tasks, such as:

- General waste and recycling within the warehouse, suggesting ways to increase RDD’s green credentials.
- Ensuring that the toilets are clean and well stocked.
- Ensuring domestic facilities are clean, well-kept, and fit for purpose; this includes the management of daily cleaning rota, ensuring that washing is taken etc.
- Distribution and collation of facilities keys including workshop keys, fire gate keys, lockers and drawer keys.
- Accountable for services such as security/parking, making sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition for employees, suppliers and clients to work.
- Manage all related administrative tasks, together with creating new processes, such as:

- Scanning and inputting of delivery notes.
- Ordering couriers.
- Updating cleaning rotas.
- Ensure the security of the warehouse is upheld.
- Hold a full forklift truck licence and be able to effectivity use all equipment to enable safe movement of goods and material around the facility.
- Support Health & Safety Lead in making sure the facilities meet appropriate standards and all warehouse operations are carried out safely.
- Remain flexible to the needs of the business.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
