Senior Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre Department at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Role:
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care, working collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and effective Theatre services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the organisation of the unit, ensuring optimal theatre utilisation at all times.
- Provide managerial and clinical leadership of departmental staff, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Band 7 Theatre Coordinator.
- Support the process of risk management and health & safety, upholding relevant policies and ensuring incidents are reported appropriately.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Undertake individual performance reviews and implement personal development plans for junior staff.
- Monitor compliance with Trust Policies and National Guidelines.
