About the Role:

  • As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our static sites.
  • You will work Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day, and 10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
  • Hovering of carpeted areas.
  • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
  • Mixing cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
  • Replenishing consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
  • Cleaning kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.

Requirements:

  • IT literacy, including the use of tablets and smartphone apps.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning environment.
  • Local to the area.
