We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group, a leading provider of professional Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services.
About the Role:
- As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our static sites.
- You will work Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day, and 10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
- Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
- Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
- Hovering of carpeted areas.
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
- Mixing cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
- Replenishing consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Cleaning kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
Requirements:
- IT literacy, including the use of tablets and smartphone apps.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment.
- Local to the area.
