Commercial Account Handler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our team in Birmingham. As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for handling new and existing commercial business, working closely with Account Executives to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle telephonic and e-mail enquiries from new and existing customers
  • Assist Account Executives in their duties, including dealing with clients in accordance with FSA guidelines
  • Obtain risk information, prepare risk presentations for submission to Insurers and underwriters
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure client retention and secure new business
  • Handle instructions from existing clients, including renewals, and deal with data capture, underwriting, and production of policy documentation
