We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As an Assistant Farm Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the farm's operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting patterns to maintain a high-quality atmosphere for the birds.
- Support the Farm Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all matters relating to birds, food, and suppliers.
- Coordinate the work of other individuals to ensure the continuous working of the farm.
- Supervise and manage the work of Farm Assistants to ensure they are able to carry out their daily duties effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the poultry industry.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Supervisory and people management skills.
- Organized and IT literate, with excellent record-keeping skills.
