Senior Child Protection Specialist - £42ph - Hybrid - ASAP Start

NonStop Consulting Ltd is working with a well-established local authority in the East of England to find an experienced Senior Child Protection Specialist / CP Chair to join their service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the responsibilities they will hold and be keen to contribute to their service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chairing statutory Child in Care Reviews in person
  • Ongoing monitoring of progress of children's care plans/pathway plans
  • Identifying areas of drift and delay in permanence for children, and escalating as per Escalation Policy
  • Visiting children outside of Reviews

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work and registered with Social Work England
  • An up-to-date DBS check
