Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver indirect tax advisory services to a diverse clientele, including large corporations.
  • Provide ad-hoc advisory support.
  • Engage with tax authorities regularly.
  • Oversee VAT registration processes.
  • Complete necessary HMRC documentation and correspondence.
  • Address internal VAT inquiries.
  • Collaborate with international offices as needed.
  • Participate in VAT team meetings.
  • Contribute to the marketing and promotion of the VAT services.
  • Assist in the growth and development of the VAT team.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and risk management.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and ethical standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses strong technical knowledge of indirect tax.
  • Has a solid understanding of VAT implications across various sectors.
  • Experience with corporate and international VAT issues is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with other business taxes is a plus.
  • Exhibits strong IT proficiency, particularly in MS Office.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
