As a key member of our R&D Ops team, you will be responsible for analyzing costs attributed to Research & Development projects, submitting R&D reports, and ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and guidelines.

Your expertise will be the main source of R&D cost and finance knowledge for our Tax Analysts and the rest of the R&D Ops team. You will create and conduct inductions and specific training on R&D cost and finance topics as requested.

Responsibilities:

* Create and record training for new Tax Analysts, ensuring it aligns with HMRC legislation, company processes, and values.
* Complete cost summaries and tax return submissions/amendments, following company processes and expectations to maximize client benefit, accuracy, and due diligence.
* Conduct quality reviews and provide feedback to Tax Analysts and HORDO, identifying areas of strength or development.
* Communicate department or individual issues with other Tax Analysts and management to ensure the team is aware of risks.
* Participate in client visits, as required, for claim reviews and customer service meetings.
