Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Maintenance Officer to join our client based in the East Belfast area.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills as the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and logging property maintenance issues, as well as coordinating with contractors to resolve these issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and log maintenance issues
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, liaising with landlords and contractors
  • Maintain accurate records of all appointments and inspections
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors

Requirements:

  • Must have own car and a valid driver's license
  • Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred, but not essential
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be well-presented
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify maintenance issues
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Word/Excel, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 plus one Saturday (09:30-12:30) every 3 weeks based on a rota.
