We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Night Support Worker at Rae House Residential Service. As a key member of our therapeutic community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our evening program.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and facilitate the evening running of the Therapeutic Community program
- Coordinate service users' tasks and activities
- Provide waking night cover, monitoring and minimizing risk
- Organize and facilitate residents in preparing for daily activities
- Monitor and administer medication to service users
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An understanding of complex issues presented by individuals in drug and alcohol recovery
- An understanding of working with families and individuals in the substance use sector or related field
- The ability to be innovative and flexible in meeting the needs of the service
- Effective working with multi-agencies, maintaining the excellent reputation of the service
- Knowledge of adult protection, working with vulnerable adults in a residential setting
