As a key member of our sports facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sports facilities, including gym supervision, leading group exercise classes, and assisting with sports set-ups and de-rigs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the gym and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for users
  • Lead group exercise classes, including fitness classes and sports activities
  • Provide fitness suite inductions and ensure users are aware of the facilities and equipment
  • Assist with sports set-ups and de-rigs, including equipment preparation and maintenance
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Level 2 Fitness Instruction qualification
  • Experience of leading group exercise classes, or willingness to achieve within 3 months of being in post
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shift work and weekends
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use software applications
