Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our team at Unum Group. As an Operational Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement operational risk management frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational risks.
- Develop and maintain risk management information systems to track and report on risk exposures.
- Proven experience in operational risk management, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including the FCA Handbook and frameworks such as Basel III and Solvency II.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to travel between locations, with a strong preference for candidates based in Dorking or Basingstoke.
