About the Role

Mosaic Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance Department, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our Environmental Sustainability agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Environmental Policy: Develop, uphold, and advocate for our company's environmental policy, strategies, and other plans, emphasizing compliance with all legislation related to Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
  • Ensure Data Quality and Compliance: Assist in sustaining external accreditations, focusing significantly on reviewing documents and conducting internal audits for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and contributing to the advancement of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS).
  • Lead Environmental Sustainability Initiatives: Establish and maintain a comprehensive data collection, monitoring, and reporting system for all environmental sustainability initiatives, with a strong emphasis on EEE and WEEE compliance.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Participate in Compliance, ESG meetings, and other departmental meetings critical to environmental sustainability, ensuring a robust alignment with EEE and WEEE regulatory requirements.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulations: Maintain deep expertise in EEE and WEEE regulations and ensure current Environmental Waste licenses and Exemptions are up-to-date and compliant with EEE and WEEE legislation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working in sustainability matters, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Strong data analytics skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in an international environment is an asset.
