Senior Piping Designer Job Description

Aker Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to join our team in Aberdeen, UK. As a key member of our Life Cycle UK team, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex projects from feasibility studies to execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out engineering design tasks with a focus on technical quality and safety integrity.
  • Prepare project deliverables according to Aker Solutions procedures, systems, and tools.
  • Develop and execute modification project scopes of work for the piping discipline.
  • Liaise with client project and facilities engineering teams.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND degree in a piping background or similar with solid experience in front-end studies, FEED, and/or EPCI projects from the energy sector.
  • Track record in Piping Designer role(s) from a minimum of one FEED, E&P, or EPC project.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling tools, laser scan data, and offshore surveys.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude.
