About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at Davies - Consulting Division. As a key member of our Consulting Legal team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Negotiation and Management
    • Draft, review, and negotiate various multi-jurisdictional commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders' and legal requirements.
    • Deliver contract risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate exposure, safeguarding the interests of the organisation and its clients.
  • Legal Advisory and Support
    • Analyse legal and business scenarios to develop solutions that address the commercial and legal requirements of the organisation.
    • Collaborate with consultants and management across various levels, effectively balancing diverse interests.
    • Support with queries in relation to HR, Operations, IT, Marketing, and Data Privacy.
  • Knowledge Management and Compliance
    • Engage with legal counterparts across Davies Group, assisting in the implementation of Legal and other processes.
    • Stay up to date with developments in relevant areas of law, contributing to the enhancement of the Legal team's knowledge base and preparing/developing contract templates.
    • Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance across all aspects of Davies Group's operations and client engagements.
Requirements
  • Essential:
    • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, with a minimum of 5 years PQE (post qualified experience).
    • Confident negotiator with skillset to handle contract negotiations with large international clients.
    • A team player with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Desirable:
    • In-house experience from a management consulting firm or similar organisation.
