Job Title: Java Low Latency Software Engineer E-Trading

McGregor Boyall, a leading player in the FX Banking sector, is seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team.

This role involves working closely with trading, front office, and research teams to develop and maintain low latency pricing and connectivity systems for our global trading platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills, including experience with multi-threading, and a background in E-Trading or high-performance/low-latency development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing high-performance Java applications for E-Trading systems
  • Collaborating with traders and research teams to develop pricing and connectivity systems
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest low latency technology and architecture
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems

Desired skills and experience include:

  • Java development skills, including experience with multi-threading
  • E-Trading business experience and/or high-performance/low-latency development experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with traders
  • Computer science/equivalent degree
