About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Technology & Transformation team as a Business Transformation Analyst. In this role, you will have the chance to support the delivery of a multi-stream transformation programme that covers processes, people, technology, and data. You will work closely with the Programme Manager to quickly understand, evaluate, and communicate how the transformation programme will be achieved through the evaluation of current processes and procedures, the identification of gaps, and the proactive suggestion of enhancements to meet our strategic goals.

You will work autonomously and have the ability to incite exciting change across our current technological and procedural systems and processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting SCRUM teams in gathering requirements, user stories, and tasks for future increments
  • Supporting RFI/RFP processes in scoping detailed system requirements
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including feature/product owners, through ongoing communication and engagement
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
  • Documenting and mapping current processes and proposed processes to identify improvements
  • Documenting business cases, including the identification and mapping of hard and soft benefits
  • Challenging and identifying opportunities to maintain positive change that supports the business strategy
  • Creating scoping documents and managing the project scope using a formal change process
  • Leading post-implementation reviews and disseminating lessons learned across the company
  • Identifying the resources required to deliver the change requirements
  • Managing change risks and issues, anticipating, identifying, and escalating emerging problems to the Programme Manager
  • Providing administrative support for meetings and plans, including the capture of decisions and actions
  • Maintaining knowledge of new technologies, industry trends, standards, and analysis techniques

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following experience, behavioural competencies, and company values:

  • Industry-recognized BA qualification(s)
  • Working in a change management team with a strong understanding of agile/waterfall methodologies, in particular SAFe
  • Experience in supporting a transformation programme focused on technological improvements, in particular with regard to APIs
  • An understanding of the adapting technological landscape and options available in the market
  • The ability to adapt communication style and draw out relevant information from a variety of sources
  • The ability to explain complex technical requirements in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly relating to process documentation and business case reporting
  • Proven ability to work independently and to self-initiate/problem solve
  • Working in a regulated financial environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Using SAFe as a change management tool (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience with managing third-party suppliers (desirable but not essential)
