We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Placements Officer to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an immediate response to information or situations concerning risk to vulnerable children. They will assist in sourcing suitable placements for children in care, working collaboratively with various teams to source carer availability and suitability.
The Placements Officer will be accountable for the quality of their work, maintaining and improving their knowledge and skills, and working openly and co-operatively with colleagues in the social care teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide an immediate response to information or situations concerning risk to vulnerable children.
- Assist in sourcing suitable placements for children in care.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to source carer availability and suitability.
- Be accountable for the quality of your work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills.
- Work openly and co-operatively with colleagues in the social care teams.
- NVQ Level 3 or evidence of previous similar study and willingness to obtain within a reasonable timescale.
- Experience of children's placements in a social care setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Good IT skills.
- Good relationship builder, self-motivating, reflective, and able to use your own initiative.
