About Our Client

The Stephen James Partnership is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled Legal Counsel to join our client, an international asset management company, on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Edinburgh.

The Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Legal Counsel with strong corporate expertise to join their award-winning team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to deepen their corporate experience at one of the world's leading asset managers.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing legal advice and support to the business
  • Assisting with corporate transactions and projects
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • UK (E&W or Scottish) qualification
  • 6+ years of post-qualification experience gained at a top-tier organization(s)
  • Strong corporate experience gained at a reputable institution
