Senior Financial Accountant

Job Summary
The Senior Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role within ASM Global's European Region, contributing to the financial integrity and success of the organisation. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both UK and European financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Group Financial Controller and US team to manage the year-end reporting process for Europe.
- Lead the Group audit and compliance process, serving as a key contact for external advisors.
- Prepare statutory accounts for UK entities and the European Group, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee head office monthly reporting, including forecasts and budgets.
- Consolidate and report monthly EBITDA results for the European Group to senior management.
- Work with external advisors on tax compliance, VAT submissions, and advisory projects.
- New Business: Develop reporting frameworks for new European ventures, including Italy and Portugal.
- Collaborate with senior finance to enhance financial processes and ensure compliance.
- Assist in managing European Group treasury functions.
- Contribute to various projects and provide support to Group Finance and Operations.
Requirements
- ACA qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in statutory reporting with experience in preparing company and consolidated statutory accounts.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time management abilities.
- High level of diligence with strong IT proficiency, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, both reactively and proactively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
