About the Role

MSA - The Safety Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Safety Equipment Technician. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest levels of site safety and customer service are maintained while carrying out site-based installations, testing, and maintenance of height safety equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site-based installations, testing, and maintenance of height safety equipment in accordance with manufacturers' requirements and drawings provided.
  • Ensure detailed legible paperwork is provided upon completion of new installations, allowing for the production of client manuals.
  • Identify additional requirements for fall protection equipment or training at sites where activities are undertaken.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Team Leader or senior management to assist in the efficient running of the business and contribute to the company's profit objectives.

Requirements

  • Clean driver's license
  • Ability to clear DBS/CRB/Scottish Disclosure
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Previous experience in a mobile, site-based role is preferred
  • Good level of understanding of English and Maths for basic administrative tasks
  • IPAF training (not essential, can be attained during employment)
  • PASMA training (not essential, can be attained during employment)
