Children and Young People's Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Specialist to join our team at the Tavistock Centre. As a specialist in child and adolescent mental health, you will work in partnership with schools, children, and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health, or behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice and support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources.
- Actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement.
- Work in partnership with schools, children, and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health, or behavioural difficulties.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a commissioned service delivering direct interventions for young people and their families. As a Child and Family Specialist, you will offer a range of clinical activities to address mental health needs in children and young people, including direct individual and group work with young people and parents/carers and joint work with other professionals.
What We Offer:
As a member of our team, you will be supported through supervision and will deliver consultation, training, and workshops to non-mental health staff. You will also have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a small team of 12 people.
Location:
This role is based in a hybrid working environment, with a mixture of home and onsite working. You will be required to work onsite for at least 20% of your working hours, either at Greenford Service Centre or occasionally at Anna Freud.
