Recently, we have been appointed as a Delivery Partner for a significant framework aimed at comprehending the effects of climate change and flood risks on communities across England. Under this framework, we will provide comprehensive services including surveying, mapping, modelling, incident management, and hydrological assessments to assist the Environment Agency in planning for climate-related events. This initiative is crucial for enabling informed investment decisions based on robust data and evidence, ultimately aiding in the reduction of flood risks for communities.

Due to our ongoing commitment to these projects, we have openings across the UK for motivated and skilled professionals in a primarily technical field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to hydraulic and hydrological modelling initiatives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in 1D and 2D modelling for various water bodies including rivers and coastal areas.
  • Collaborate with engineers, ecologists, and environmental scientists to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Engage in business development activities and support tendering processes.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering, with a preference for an MSc or equivalent experience.
  • Chartered or Fellow status with relevant professional bodies.
  • Extensive experience in flood risk management and project delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring junior team members.
  • Technical expertise in hydraulic modelling software and GIS applications.
