You will oversee a team of Domestic Cleaners, ensuring a welcoming environment for students while upholding the highest cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the boarding facilities.

Under the guidance of an Assistant Cleaning Manager, your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Maintaining cleanliness in boarding houses and central facilities to exemplary standards
  • Developing and managing cleaning schedules for staff
  • Providing orientation and training for new team members
  • Conducting inspections of cleaning standards in various areas
  • Managing and monitoring the inventory of cleaning supplies
  • Coordinating laundry services in collaboration with the Matron and Houseparent
  • Supporting and organizing domestic staff effectively

To succeed in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of cleaning protocols and be capable of working independently. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Additionally, the ability to interact with colleagues, students, and parents in a friendly and supportive manner is crucial.

The working hours are structured from 8:30 AM to 2:25 PM, six days a week, on a rotating schedule.

Moreover, domestic staff are expected to contribute additional hours during school events throughout the academic year.
