We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Community Nursery Nurse to join our Health Visiting Team in Brent. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical support to our Health Visitors and work with families to promote healthy child development.
About the RoleAs a Community Nursery Nurse, you will work closely with our Health Visitors to provide support to families with children from 0-5 years old. You will assist with clinical interventions, provide advice on positive parenting skills, and work with families to promote healthy child development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to Health Visitors and work with families to promote healthy child development
- Assist with clinical interventions and provide advice on positive parenting skills
- Work with families to promote healthy child development and support them in understanding key developmental milestones
- Plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BTEC Diploma in Child Care or NVQ in Child Care level 3 or equivalent
- Experience of working with children and families in a formal health, educational, or social care setting
- Basic skills in numeracy and literacy, and IT skills including Word and Excel
- Ability to assess a situation, identify any risk or potential problem, and act appropriately
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and normal child development
