About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Mental Health Team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and write comprehensive reports to inform care decisions.
  • Manage a caseload of service users, providing regular support and guidance to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Liaise with other professional bodies to ensure seamless care coordination and adherence to the Mental Health Act.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of adults with mental health needs, promoting their rights and dignity at all times.
  • Develop and implement self-directed support plans, empowering service users to take control of their care and well-being.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Social Worker.
  • At least 1 year of post-qualifying experience in a similar role within the UK Social Care industry.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance (we can assist with the application process).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
